I have always been reluctantly dragged into daylight-saving time, liking the early evening dark instead of the seemingly everlasting daylight that implied it was not yet time to relax and rest. However, I had forgotten about one of the bonuses of this change in our time. At 6 am on this Monday morning, I went out into the sunroom and as I looked to the east instead of my usual view of complete darkness, I was treated to a beautiful sunrise that stretched out before me like a line of burning embers from a leftover fire. So, this beautiful beginning to the day makes up for the longer lasting daylight in the evenings.
