Easter with egg baskets and bunnies
Sunday was crisp and cool, but the weather didn't limit Easter celebrations or activities. The Flying Horses opened on Saturday, just in time to host the Easter bunny on Sunday. The Easter bunny also stopped in to celebrate with the folks at Donaroma's Nursery. There was the annual egg hunt at Vineyard Gardens and family-style fun at the Portuguese American Club.
Island Ice
On March 21, the Island Ice Skating School showcased their talented skaters at their Spring Fling show. All ages participated, from 20 months old to adult, under the coaching of Julie Meader, Ashley Hamilton, and Diana Woods.
Coach Meader's husband, Jared, who is returning to active military duty in April to Iraq, was able to come home for Easter and the skating show from his pre-deployment training at Camp Edwards on Cape Cod.
