Island Grown Initiative (IGI) recently received a grant for $9,397 from the Northeast Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education for its mobile poultry processing unit and poultry program. The funds will go towards expanding the unit and developing education opportunities for farmers and growers on the Island.

Island residents participated in the Elder Services of Cape Cod and the Islands' "Mayors for Meals" campaign on March 19. Standing from left are Stan Call, Tom Hiller, Paul Size, Tristan Israel, J.B.
