Sara W. Wikstrom of Tisbury recently received a medical degree from the University of Utah School of medicine in Salt Lake City, Utah. Sara was also awarded the medical ethics prize.
Hans Buder of Vineyard Haven recently graduated summa cum laude at Duke University in Durham, N.C. The son of Lynn and Karl Buder, Hans received a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science.
Lauren Mulvey of Edgartown recently received a bachelor's degree in communications for Gordon College in Wenham. Lauren was the president of her class for three years.
Katie L. Ferreira of Vineyard Haven recently received a Bachelor of Science in nursing from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences School of Nursing. Katie was also given the Clinical Excellence Award. She is the daughter of Lois and James Ferreira.
Ruth C. Guilford of Vineyard Haven recently graduated magna cum laude at the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth. She received a Bachelor of Arts in English.
Sarah M. Paulson of Vineyard Haven recently graduated magna cum laude at the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.
Brooke A. Emin of Chilmark recently received a Bachelor of Arts in humanities and social sciences from the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth.
Anya Toteanu of West Tisbury recently graduated magna cum laude at Colby College in Waterville, Maine. The son of John Toteanu of West Tisbury and Sandra Fisher of Vineyard Haven, Anya received a Bachelor of Arts degree in East Asian studies and economics. She also was on the Dean's list for the spring 2008 semester.
Parthenia H. Kiersted of Edgartown recently received a degree in English at St. Lawrence University in Canton, N.Y.
Beth D. Harrington recently received a Bachelor's degree in English literature at Smith College in Northampton. Beth was a recipient of the James T. and Ellen M. Hatfield Memorial Prize for best short story. She is the daughter of Pam Logan of West Tisbury and Dan Harrington of Melrose.
