Elizabeth Bradley's needlework is currently on display at Henley's Needlepoint, located on Main Street in Edgartown, through July 11. Finished pillows, a bell pull, and a rug are on display. The kits are inspired by historical needlework. Elizabeth Bradley is celebrating her 21st year of offering quality heirloom designs. Call 508-627-3959 for information.

Warm up to a book

The Summer Reading Program Kick-Off, on Saturday, July 5, at 11 am, at the Ag Hall in West Tisbury will feature comedian Bill Ross, whose "Book 'Em" routine explores books and reading, using comedy, juggling, and unicycle riding. Tickets cost $3 at the door; $1 for face painting. Proceeds go to the Martha's Vineyard Library Association. For more information, call any town library.
