Save a life

Every five minutes someone is diagnosed with a blood cancer. Only two out of ten cancer patients will find a marrow match, so every donor registered at the Save Giovanni's Friends Bone Marrow Drive will give patients a better change for survival. The drive will take place at the Agricultural Fair in West Tisbury today through Sunday, August. 21-24. Donors must be between 18 and 55 years of age and in good health. You will be asked to fill out a registration form and a cheek swab will be taken. You will be contacted for additional blood tests if you are a match. For more information, call Anna Hanchar at 508-541-8309, or visit helpgiovanniguglielmo.org.
