MVCS early childhood program wins state recognition

Martha’s Vineyard Community Services Early Childhood Program (ECP) was selected as one of the top 10 high-performing school readiness organizations in Massachusetts by Social Impact Research (SIR). SIR is the independent research department of Root Cause, a research and consulting firm dedicated to mobilizing the nonprofit, public, and business sectors to work together for social impact, according to a press release.

“We are extremely proud of Debbie Milne, program director, and Judy Thomas, child care program coordinator, and all of the teachers and staff in ECP,” Community Service executive director, Julia Burgess said. “They consistently go above and beyond to make sure our children have access to an excellent education and resources, as well as playing a leadership role in early education on the Island.”
