The 19th annual HarborFest and the fifth annual Summer Solstice celebration, hosted by the Oak Bluffs Association (OBA), was “as good as ever,” according to Dennis daRosa, president of the OBA.
“It was a nice, beautiful night. I can’t say enough,” Mr. daRosa said about Summer Solstice. “We were just lucky with the weather. People were out and about during the day, and people came by to have supper and meander around the street at night.”
According to Becca Rogers, OBA director, the number of vendor booths during HarborFest was up to 60, compared to the usual 45. “We were squeezing people in; we were absolutely full to capacity for vendors.”
