When the school children walk through the doors of the Chilmark School in September, they will be greeted by a new but familiar face. We are all sad to see long-time school secretary Orlaith Estes move on, but we are thrilled to see who will be taking her place. Friend, neighbor, and mother of Gabe A., Mary Kuh Ambulos will be the woman behind the front desk ready to say good morning and see you tomorrow. Congratulations Mary, you are the perfect fit.

It was a tough nine-inning battle with Arlan’s Alligators defeating Hans’ Hamsters 7-5. This Sunday, July 4, there will be a double-header starting at 8:30 am. Anyone 13 and older is encouraged to swing by and play. Pasture Road off Tabor House is the place to be wearing your ball cap and some good running shoes.
