Brewhas blown away in men’s softball semi-final

The Hurricanes and Brewhas met at Tisbury’s War Memorial Veterans Park, Monday, in the third of their three game series to determine which team would challenge the Highlanders for the league championship. Each had won a previous playoff off game.

The ‘Canes jumped off to a sizable lead scoring six runs in each of the first two innings. They went right on circling the bases in their next four turns at the plate. Adam Golding was especially productive hitting three home runs in his first three trips to the plate.

Dewey Green and Karl Kallinich both homered for the Brewhas but it was too little, too late.

Final score: Hurricanes 20, Brewhas 11.

The Hurricanes vs. Highlanders three game series began last night and will continue, if necessary, on Monday.
