Jim and Pam Butterick opened their Oak Bluffs home overlooking the Lagoon to more than 50 people Sunday night, to listen to music and to raise money for a music-maker — the 115-year-old Hook and Hastings pipe organ in the Federated Church in Edgartown. Generous donations collected during the evening will be dedicated to the restoration of the organ.

A classical trio — John Gorman (piano), Jan Hyer (cello), and Matt Pelican (violin) — delighted the crowd with music by Beethoven and Mozart. Later, some of the guests broke into spontaneous renditions of well-known Broadway show tunes.
