Festival success

The fifth annual Martha’s Vineyard Film Festival (MVFF) is deemed a sold-out success, as ticket sales increased 12 percent this year, and nine events were completely sold out. Even advanced online ticket sales were up at least 25 percent, indicating a rise in attendance by off-Islanders. Already thinking about 2011, MVFF confirms Matthew Modine and Bill Plympton plan to return to next year’s festival.
