"Seaward"
"Seaward," one of West Tisbury photographer Michael Stimola's images, has been selected to be included in a tribute show at the Edward Hopper House Art Center. The fine art photographer, who shows at The Field Gallery in West Tisbury, was awarded acceptance in the upcoming "Hopperesque" %u2013 an invitational, photography-only show that opens February 13, 2011. It will be held at the artist's birthplace, the Edward Hopper House Art Center in Nyack, N.Y., through March 25, 2011. The show is designed to demonstrate art that conveys the sparseness of element and realism of American painter Edward Hopper, who died in 1967.
