Giving Tisbury youngsters a daily treat
is this Shetland pony on Main Street.
Its well-groomed look is truly top-notch;
its name is appealing: Butter-Scotch.
A horse of divers and distinctive styles,
it hails from England's Shetland Isles.
Well-groomed from mane to buffed-up hooves,
it stands in one place and never moves.
A toddler passed by and took a whack
at trying to mount the pony's back.
From Butter-Scotch its owners want no more
than that it lure customers into their store.
