The second annual Wingfest, held Saturday, Nov. 13 at Sharky's Cantina in Edgartown, raised about $7,500 for the Martha's Vineyard Boys and Girls Club, 50 percent more than last year's fest, according to JB Blau, owner of Sharky's.

For the second year in a row, the Edgartown Firemen's Association won first place, by one vote, for best wing over the Oak Bluffs EMS and Fire Department team. Edgartown also won best booth — a new category this year — by two votes, beating Oak Bluffs again.
