Vegas Night benefits Martha's Vineyard Arena

Though the numbers are not in yet, organizers have good expectations for how much was raised at this past Friday evening's Las Vegas Night, a benefit for the Martha's Vineyard Arena.
"For preliminary numbers, I think we did a little better than we did two years ago," said Phillip Mercier, Arena treasurer.
A biannual event, the fundraiser is held at the Edgartown Yacht Club. Attendees played craps, blackjack, roulette, and other casino games to raise money for the ice rink.
Kurt Mundt reminds everyone that Public Skate is Monday through Friday from 11 am to 1 pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 3:30 to 4:50 pm. For more information, visit mvarena.com.
