Last Saturday and Sunday, Children in the Arts of Martha's Vineyard gave two dazzling performances of the "Nutcracker Gala."
The 13th annual production took place at the M.V. Regional High School's Performing Arts Center, and featured two Clara's, Megan Mendez of Vineyard Haven on Saturday, and Grace Hall of Edgartown on Sunday. Megan's brother Ethan played the part of Fritz.
Island children were joined by the Atlantic Coast Ballet, giving the performances a professional air while maintaining a community feel.
