Anita Marie (Labelle) Ciancio, 87, of Oak Bluffs died Monday evening, January 3, 2011 at Windemere Nursing Home.
She was the mother of Edward Ciancio of Derry, N.H., Michael Ciancio of Vineyard Haven, Robert Ciancio of Edgartown, Bonnie Parent of Edgartown, and Claudia “Penny” DeBettencourt of Oak Bluffs. She was the sister of Alice Williams of Edgartown. She is survived by ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her son Ernest Ciancio in 1964, her brother, Ernest Labelle, and her sisters, Rita Filteau and Dolores Authier.
Visiting hours at Chapman, Cole and Gleason Funeral Home, Edgartown-Vineyard Haven Road, Oak Bluffs will be held on Friday, Jan. 7, from 6 to 8 pm.
Funeral services will be held in Our Lady Star of the Sea Church, Massasoit Avenue, Oak Bluffs on Saturday, Jan. 8, at 11 am. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineyard Avenue, Oak Bluffs.
