Swimsuit edition

Local artist Ronni Simon, jewelry designer and co-owner of the Simon Gallery in Vineyard Haven, has hit the national media, husband Peter Simon tells The Times. Her hand-crafted jewelry will be featured on the models in the upcoming Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, which will be on sale beginning February 15.

Since the cover photo and the models in the issue are a carefully guarded secret, Ms. Simon only knows that they have used her jewelry and not who, what, or where it will be worn.

The gallery, located on Main Street in Vineyard Haven, will be open this Friday through Sunday for a special Valentine’s Day sale weekend.
