Scholarships available
The Permanent Endowment for Martha's Vineyard is accepting applications for its 2011 scholarship program. Last year, through the 17 scholarship funds it administers, the Endowment awarded 54 scholarships totaling $123,600 to Vineyard high school seniors as well as college and graduate students.
Application materials are available on the Endowment's website and in the reference section of each town library. All applications must be postmarked by March 15, 2011, and applicants will be notified of grant awards in early June.
