Last Sunday, 30 children and adults braved the winds that blow across Katama to help out with chores at The FARM Institute and enjoy a sumptuous farm brunch.
Participants slopped the pigs, fed the goats, sheep and cows and gathered eggs to cook up for a hearty breakfast that included FARM Institute breakfast sausage, oven-roasted potatoes, hot coffee, and warm blueberry muffins.
"It's a perfect activity for the entire family and a great way to build community and learn more about what The FARM Institute has to offer," Christine Kinsman, FARM Institute business manager, said.
The next Sunday brunch is scheduled for Sunday, March 20 from 9 am to noon. Call Cathy at 508-627-7007, extension 101 to RSVP. Space is limited.
