Island company receives exclusive rights to SOLARBEAM
Southern New England Solar Technologies (SNES) recently received the exclusive Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut distributorships for the SOLARBEAM, a new product manufactured by Solartron Energy of Halifax, Nova Scotia.
The SOLARBEAM is a 15-foot diameter parabolic solar collector that uses a sophisticated GPS navigation to track the sun's location throughout the year. Its primary use will be for commercial buildings that have a large need for hot water, but it can also be used in large residential applications, according to a press release.
Paul D. Adler of West Tisbury and Gary Stuber of Chilmark recently formed the company and will demonstrate their product at the Northeast Sustainable Energy Association energy fair at the Seaport World Trade Center in Boston on March 9 and March 10. For more information go to solarbeam.us.
