Senior hockey players finish season in style

The Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School varsity and junior varsity hockey teams squared off against Whitman-Hanson on Friday at the MV Arena.

The varsity ice men won 4 to 1. Senior Alex Bilzerian and senior Dakota DelViento (1 assist) led the way to victory in their final game with the team. Goal scorers included Max Davies, Tyson Araujo, Shay Hill, and Brian Fraser, who scored his first career goal.

Max Davies was named player of the week. He finished the season with 3 goals in two games.

The JV team also finished in style, beating Whitman-Hanson 5-2.

Friday was also Senior Day. In between the hockey action, it was time to honor the senior members of the girls and boys hockey teams.
