Alex, reporting annually and early on the inspired amorous crooning of the inch-long Hyla crucifer, a marsh dwelling frog, confirmed the phenomenon Saturday.
On Friday, Lila Norris reported that she heard pinkletinks at Lambert's Cove. Ms. Norris knew exactly what the message was. "Spring has sprung," she wrote.
