Bourne Bridge road work postponed one week
Due to weather concerns and predicted high
winds, maintenance work that could cause traffic delays on the Bourne Bridge has been rescheduled to Tuesday, March 29. The work was originally scheduled for Tuesday, March 22.
Traffic on the Bourne Bridge will be limited to one lane of traffic from 8 am to 3 pm requiring lane restrictions, according to officials from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New England District. No wide loads will be permitted to cross the span, and state and local police will be on duty to assist drivers.
