Catherine Coogan named Martha's Vineyard Family Planning director
Martha's Vineyard Family Planning last month announced that Catherine Coogan of Vineyard Haven is the new director. Ms. Coogan is a registered nurse and replaces longtime director Patricia Begley, who retired after 27 years at the helm.
Ms. Coogan has a wide range of nursing and public health experience. She has provided nursing and counseling services to clients at Family Planning since 2006, according to a press release.
"Catherine has the expertise and credentials to lead Family Planning into the next several years," said Elizabeth Torrant, chief operating officer of Health Imperatives, Family Planning's parent organization.
