Martha's Vineyard bus to become mobile clinic in Haiti

April 13, 2011

This retired VTA bus will start a second life in Haiti, most likely as a mobile clinic.

The Martha's Vineyard Fish Farm for Haiti Project is shipping a retired Martha's Vineyard Transit Authority bus filled with supplies to Haiti early next month. But it's not full yet!

Donations of the following items, clean and in excellent condition, are welcome: over-the-counter meds, wheelchairs, walkers, crutches, clothing, linens, towels, household items, etc. Volunteers are needed to help box, bag, inventory, and load the bus.

To volunteer or to donate medical supplies, call Donna Gazaille at 508-627-5095. Or call 508-693-0368 or email us at info@fishfarmhaiti.org.
