Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School holds Freshman Cup event

The annual Freshman Cup at Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School provided a lively pre-vacation kick-off on Friday, April 15. In a battle between eight homerooms, students competed in a variety of games: a dizzy bat race, ping pong ball crawl, musical chairs, chocolate cream pie-eating contest, football uniform quick change, tug of war, and a three-legged race.

This year’s winning team was science teacher Debra Swanson’s homeroom. Guidance counselors Shauna Nute and John Fiorito, the freshman class advisors, organized the event.
