Squash Meadow house in Chilmark affordable housing subdivision is Energy Star compliant

Squash Meadow Construction recently completed the first house in Chilmark’s Middle Line Road affordable housing subdivision. The house is owned by Chip and Michele Leonardi and received certification as an Energy Star Version 2 qualified home.

This means that after undergoing rigorous testing, the house meets or exceeds strict energy efficiency guidelines set by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, according to a press release.

Squash Meadow Construction began work this week on a house owned by Jen Slossberg that is also designed to meet the Energy Star requirements. For more information call 508-693-7451 or go to squashmeadow.com.
