Bill Buckner guest of honor for Martha's Vineyard Sharks event

Former Red Sox first baseman Bill Buckner visited Sharky's Cantina in Edgartown this past Saturday, May 14, for a fundraiser benefiting the Vineyard Baseball Park, home of the Martha's Vineyard Sharks. The Sharks, the new, amateur collegiate baseball team calling the Vineyard home, start their season June 10, with a home game at 5 pm.
More than 100 people came to the event to meet Mr. Buckner, currently the manager of the Brockton Rox, a professional team in the Canadian-American Association of Professional Baseball.
