Little league results
Having lost to the Red Sox, Tuesday, 2-1, the Cardinals returned the compliment, Saturday, behind Jonas Lukowitz's and Tristan Araujo's effective hurling. Araujo worked out of a bases-loaded, no-out bind in the top of the sixth. Jack Murray drove in both of the Cards' runs, the winner in the bottom of the sixth.
Also Saturday, the Cubs ran away from the Tigers, 11-1, and the A's scuttled the Pirates, 9-5. All games played in Veira Park.
