Martha's Vineyard girls lacrosse team outlasts Dartmouth

The Martha's Vineyard girls' lacrosse team scored 17 times to finish four ahead of the Dartmouth Indians, here last Thursday.

Taylor Pogi, Alex Mark, Isabel Smith, Cat Todd, and Molly Fischer all scored twice.

The Islanders led at the half, 10-4 and finished up by four, 17-13.

Ana Irwin won most of the draws. Angela deBettencourt, Niki Alexander, and Shelby Ferry provided strong defense.
