Jonathan Ralston joins Eisenhauer Gallery

Eisenhauer Gallery announced the addition of Jonathan Ralston to the gallery both as an artist and as the Edgartown gallery’s new director.

Mr. Ralston, a long-time Island resident, has almost 20 years of gallery experience. His paintings feature architectural references from around the world and represent perspectives that represent the physical and ethereal aspects of a space. His artwork will be part of the gallery’s season opening show, “Layered Approach,” on Saturday, May 28, that also includes the art of Eric Abrecht and Rebecca Kinkead.

Painter Rebecca Kinkead, uses a palette knife to create scenes of children at play in lush textures and vibrant colors.

Mr. Abrecht’s landscape paintings draw on his life experiences to express his personal perspective..

The artists will be present at the opening and look forward to meeting visitors.
