SunWater helps Islanders reap solar grants
Tim Twombly of SunWaterMV said that 17 islanders will receive $37,865.00 in state grants, through applications filed on their behalf by SunWaterMV.com.
The solar thermal systems must be completed within nine months of the award announcement. They will represent 88.9 kW of heating capacity for residential hot water and heat, Mr. Twombly, a certified solar thermal Installer, said in a press release.
The grant application process opened in February. The average award to SunWaterMV.com's clients is $2,227, Mr. Twombly said. For more information call 508-693-4592 or go to SunWaterMV.com.
