The West Tisbury softball team claimed the Vineyard’s interscholastic championship by defeating Oak Bluffs, 8-6, to qualify for the finals versus Edgartown, then claimed the spoils by downing the Eagles, 10-6.
Edgartown led 5-2 heading into the bottom of the third inning, before the Hawks rallied with five runs to lead 7-5. The Eagles added one run in the fifth, but West Tisbury added three more in the bottom half of the inning to settle matters.
