To all our neighbors
To the Editor:
The Rivard family gives its heartfelt thanks to all of our neighbors who took time out of their busy lives to help us look for our daughter, on the Monday afternoon of June 6.
Little Jamie decided to take a walk in the woods in the late afternoon and went missing for about two hours until spotted not far off Watcha Path.
Our thanks also to the quick and compassionate response by the Edgartown Police Department. After the initial search showed no results, the Edgartown Police called on the Edgartown Fire Department. The response of the local firefighters, all volunteers, was amazingly quick and in large numbers. Thank you all,
