The Vineyard Square Hotel & Suites, formerly the Colonial Inn, threw itself a party last week.
The Vineyard Square Hotel & Suites, known for the past 100 years as the Colonial inn, celebrated its 100th birthday Thursday evening with a cake tree made from 100 cupcakes from Val's Cakes, old-fashioned lemonade, music, giveaways, and tours of the newly renovated hotel.
The event marked the beginning of 100 days of celebration for the newly renovated Inn with giveaways, including free nights at the hotel and tickets to Huey Lewis and the News, live in concert, a show planned for July.
