Emily Reich of Oak Bluffs named All-American sailor

Emily Reich of Oak Bluffs, a 2008 graduate of Martha's Vineyard Regional High School, has been named to the Inter-Collegiate Sailing Association's All American team. A junior at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia, Emily joins her teammate Stephanie Robie, who was named All-American skipper for the second consecutive year.

Twenty collegiate sailors were honored by All-American mention, half from New England colleges or universities.

Emily has been sailing Vineyard waters since she was eight years old, two years earlier than is usually permitted by the East Chop Yacht Club. She was named to the All-Cape & Islands team two years running.
