In the interest of brevity
To the Editor:
I was fortunate to attend the presentation of the 52nd High School Awards night at the Tabernacle, especially as I had a grandson receiving one. No one could fail to be impressed by the generosity which makes these awards possible. The work involved by so many people boggles the imagination.
If only, when giving out the awards, the audience could have been asked to hold their applause (occasionally they were) each time there was more than one recipient, in my opinion, the evening would have been shorter and families with old and young children would have been home a little earlier.
