The Taste… The Gourmet Stroll… Taste Party… Whatever the nickname, the Taste of the Vineyard on Thursday drew hundreds of people to Edgartown for a night of eating, drinking and dancing.
With over 75 restaurants, caterers and microbrews serving a wide variety of their finest food and drinks, this annual event packed the lawn of Old Whaling Church.
From lobster salad to flatbread pizza, food didn’t disappoint the hungry crowd. For those wanting to discover new and unique drinks, cucumber margarita and locally brewed beer did the job.
“Every year, it gets better and better, and we’ve been here for five years.” Thomas McAliney, executive chef of Brandt Beef, said.
Throughout the evening, Jerry Bennett and the Sultans of Swing played many popular songs, which had people dancing and singing, “Tonight’s gonna be a good good night.”
This sold-out event raised money for the Martha’s Vineyard Preservation Trust.
