Ciciora and Roberts recognized

Two MVRHS baseball players, pitcher Ben Ciciora and shortstop Jack Roberts were honored by being named to the Eastern Athletic Conference All Star team. Ben was among the league leaders in earned run average. Jack was among the leaders in batting average and was outstanding at short.

EAC Spring wrap-up

The final stats for the Eastern Athletic Conference spring sports were released last week.

In boys lacrosse, the Islanders finished second to Bishop Feehan. In girls lacrosse the Vineyard was first,

In boys track MV finished fourth behind Feehan, Somerset and Bp. Stang. In girls track MV was fifth behind Feehan, Coyle Cassidy, Stang and Somerset.

At baseball the Islanders were fifth behind Somerset, Coyle, Feehan and Stang. At Softball the Islanders were fifth. Coyle was first, followed by Somerset, Feehan, and Stang.

At boys tennis undefeated, 6-0, 15-2 overall, MV was first. At girls tennis, MV finished first at 7-1 and 13-3 overall. Feehan 6-2, 11-5 was second.

MV’s Alyssa Adler (20-0) and Dylan Brockmeyer (18-2) were one-two in girls singles.
