If you can’t get to the Vineyard Baseball Park, there’s another way to see an MV Sharks game. “The Game of the Week” with play by play announcer Ken Goldberg, with assorted guests, will be shown on MVTV Channel 14, Tuesdays at 7:00 pm, Thursdays at 6:00 pm, and Sundays at 8:00 pm.

This week the TV opponent is the Nashua Silver Knights. Next week features the Torrington Titans.

In all, week after week, nine games will be televised.

Sharks tied for lead at 4-3

The Sharks defeated the Seacoast Mavericks 10-7, Sunday night at Vineyard Baseball Park. Zach Rafferty was the winning pitcher, improving to 2-0. Robbie Zinsmeister led the Sharks’ attack with three hits and five RBI’s.

Monday’s 8-2 loss to the Torrington (Conn) Titans here was the second Sharks loss of the season.

Sharks Robbie Zinsmeister, Josh Rouse, and Jeremy Matos all had two hits in the game. Rouse and Garrett Autrey had the RBIs.

The Sharks scored their two runs in the bottom of the fifth. The Titans scored four in the third and added more in the fifth, sixth and eighth.

Tuesday the Sharks lost in Nashua 13-9. The Utica Brewers visited yesterday. The Sharks are at Rochester, N.H. on Thursday. Friday, Saturday and Sunday are all home games with the Titans, Mavericks and the Silver Knights in that order.

The team has a day off on Monday.
