Leander C. Brown
A memorial service for Leander Carney Brown, 73, of Oak Bluffs will be held in Waban Park (Dennis Alley Park) at 10 am on July 3.
A tent will be provided and Pastors John Rice and Carolyn Lee will preside. Mr. Brown died on November 10, 2010.
A retired school teacher and real estate developer, Mr. Carney was a summer resident of Oak Bluffs for 40 years.
He is survived by daughters Dr. Denise Brown-Allen of Maplewood, N.C., and Leah Brown of Raleigh, N.C., along with a host of family and friends.
