Hot rods, antiques, custom jobs, and classics — more than 50 of them will be at Tisbury Wharf on the harbor in Vineyard Haven this Saturday, July 23. The fifth annual Tisbury Firefighters Car Show is the occasion, and car buffs won’t be disppointed. Most of the vehicles on display are owned and operated by Islanders, but there may be some special entries from “away” too. Live music and food and drink will sustain and entertain attendees from 4 pm until sunset. There is no admission charge, but donations are encouraged, and there will be a raffle with many exciting donated items included.

More than 50 active firefighters man the Tisbury Fire Department, ready to serve around town and around the Island. Funds raised at the show go to the Firefighters Relief Fund, which helps out injured firefighters and those in need.
