Elmer Silva of Tisbury defeated Gary BenDavid of Oak Bluffs, 4 and 3 in the Championship Flight at the Farm Neck Golf Club's Championship tournament, last weekend.

Also winning, claiming first place honors: Richard Combra Sr. over Steve Mussell 1-up in a 20 hour A Flight marathon match. Bob Jaffe defeated Rich Osnoss, 5 and 4 in the B Flight; Al Alexander topped Steve Amaral 3 and 2 in the Senior flight.

Women's Winners

Anne Lemenager defeated Helen Green in their annual Championship dual, 6 and 5. Deborah Crews defeated Pat Wilks, 5 and 3 in the A Flight, and Lorraine Cullivan bested Judy Maynes, 1-up in B Flight competition.
