Four games were scheduled, but only two were completed in a rain-shortened Oak Bluffs Summer League basketball slate, Tuesday night at Niantic Park.

BrantAsil stayed perfect at the top of the OBSL standings with a 72-70 win over Mopeds are Dangerous.

The second contest also came down to the last possesion, which saw the High School Ballers hang on for a 49-47 decision over the Free Agents. The Agents twice had the ball in the final 25 seconds, but could not find the hoop.

The Monstars and the Kings of Cottage City were able to post 12 points between them before the rains came in and made the concrete court too slick to continue. The game, along with the final contest of the evening between Team Chaos and Team 7, will likely be cancelled from the schedule.

Nick Viera of Team Chaos is currently the OBSL’s leading scorer with 117 points, followed by Dan Birtwell of the Mopeds with 107 and the Monstars’ John Swan with 106.

The High School Ballers have the surest touch from the charity stripe, posting a 51.9 percent free-throw rate.
