Island women play in tennis districts
The MV 4.5 USTA tennis team composed of Island women Nina Bramhall, Liz Roberts, Judy Bramhall, Debbie Cooper, Linda Leahy, and Gretchen Massey competed in the Eastern Mass District Championships last weekend and came in a close 3rd out of 5 teams. Captain Nina Bramhall said, "It's a big improvement over last year and a great accomplishment for a 2nd year team with a small talent pool to draw from."
