Martha's Vineyard: The Vacation Destination of Jazz is its slogan, and a diverse presentation of all things jazz in a variety of venues is the Martha's Vineyard Jazz Festival's mission. Already, musicans such as Elan Trotman, Michele Holland, and the Ben Wolfe Quartet have played at Lola's, Featherstone, and Shephard Fine ArtSpace, respectively. Coming up Thursday, Aug. 11, is Nnenna Freelon at the Old Whaling Church, and the Berklee College of Music All Stars with Mario Castro play Friday, Aug. 12, at Deon's Restaurant.
