The M.V. Cancer Support Group's 7th Annual Blueberry Pancake Breakfast at the Federated Church in Edgartown on Sunday was the most successful yet.
Flipping some 300 flapjacks and frying up pounds and pounds of bacon and sausage, 12 people in the kitchen fed more than 150 people over two and a half hours. In addition, other church members and Myra Stark of the Cancer Support Group served coffee, lemonade, and iced tea. By 10:30 am, there was not a single clean fork, knife, or cup left in the church.
