Twelve meter yachts raced in the Edgartown Yacht Club Regatta, August 6-8.

In the Vintage Class, five races were scored, each won by Northern Light skippered by Kip Curren for the New York Yacht Club defeating Gleam with Bob Andrews at the tiller for the Edgartown Yacht Club.

In the Traditional Class, Alain Hanover sailed Columbia to five wins in five races besting American Eagle with skipper Jeff Randall for the EYC.

Three boats raced in the Modern Class: Courageous, USA and Victory'83. Courageous and skipper Ralph Isham of the NYYC nosed out USA and Guy Heckman of EYC, 8-9.

Victory with Dennis Williams sailing for the Corinthian YC did not finish race 4 and did not sail race 5.
